We are preparing to leave for Georgetown, Guyana. We are expected at the Mission Training Center on September 24. A couple who live in Georgetown, the Whites, have found us an apartment. We are excited to see it. We've had our shots, gotten our international driver's licenses, passports, clothes (for a hot, humid climate), first aid kits, big suitcases and packed up our home.

- We are serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the West Indies. It is the biggest adventure of our lives. We have six children and 16 grandchildren whom we dearly love and miss. But, with their support, we are serving the Lord. There is a need for other senior couples in the West Indies.
