Driving in Georgetown

This is Christopher. He is in the backseat of our car. What is he doing? He is looking out the rear window to try to see the stop light so that he can tell us when it turns green. Many of the stop lights are placed where you can't see them. Makes driving a little difficult. Our usual technique is to wait until someone honks. The only problem is, they honk long before the light turns green.

Oh, my! We're in for a real treat, aren't we?! Do you ever drive, Sister Langford or just Elder Langford?

I love the mission blogs. My Elder has been there since June10 and you wonderful senior couples have made this world a little closer to home. Thanks from the bottom of my heart for all you do. Susan Bryan

To Jan Myers:

No I never drive. I have no depth perception and wouldn't survive the close encounters. In Georgetown the streets are narrow and traffic is heavy. Six months ago, Elder Langford commented, "No where in the world can you miss on coming traffic by less than 3 inches going 30 mph"

To Susie:

We are in awe of the young elders here. We do not get to spend as much time with them as the other senior couples but are very impressed by their fearlessness, tirelessness, and enthusiams. You have a son to be proud of.
