The guide tied our boat to a tree and told us to watch the snowy egrets as they flew to some trees across the lake. They roost there for the night. I got bored after five minutes. We have plenty of snowy egrets in Guyana. There are about three trees on the road to Rosignol where they roost and there are so many of them, you can't see the leaves for the white birds.
