Nickerie, Suriname
We decided to drive to Suriname instead of fly. Advantages: cheaper, see more scenery, we would have our own wheels.
We had to take a ferry across the Correntyne River. On the other side, we were confronted with a dirt road. The picture doesn't show the pot holes and it rained just before we arrived, so the pot holes were mud holes. Elder Langford loved it. I didn't get many pictures. He was afraid to stop lest we get stuck in the mud but we traveled through jungle on both sides of the road.
When we got to the paved road, we saw a flock of buzzards. We've never seen them just walking around on the ground.
We are going back this week to help put on a Seminary Super Saturday.

Elder Langford looks like he is just having way too much fun driving on that dirt road. Hehehe
It is so much fun to read along with your adventures.
