Where we are

Our friend Jackie said she wished there was a map so that she could see all of the places we describe - So - Here they are. Both countries are on the Atlantic Ocean and we visit towns, cities and villages along the coast. Guyana means "Land of Many Waters". There are lots of rivers. On the Guyana map, there are Rosignol and New Amsterdam. That is where the ferry is that takes so long. To get to Suriname, we go near Skeldon and cross, but there is no town in Suriname. Nieuw Nickerie (pronounced Ni carry) is about an hour and a half from the ferry landing.
